Tips on Organising the Company Christmas Party

    Being given the task of organising the Christmas party can be a bit daunting but we have some helpful tips to take the stress away and make your staff and colleaguess feel really appreciated.

Plan Early.

Don't leave things to the last minute as dates get booked up in venues throughout December very quickly.

How many Guests?

If you are a small company then sharing a venue maybe the answer. There are a wide variety of fantastic venues that will be more than willing to put two or three groups together. Don't be afraid to ask. It may form new friendships and provide new networking opportunities.

Work out Your Budget.

Work out how much per head you want to spend. You can expect to pay for the meal but usually the drinks will be covered by the individuals themselves.

Creating an Atmosphere.

Do you want an intimate and sophisticated affair or a wild party? Do you want an awards night or a dancing extravaganza? Themeing your party will give the whole event the wow factor. You can in cheaply dress any venue with our wonderful scene setters and make people feel they have entered a new world. We have many themed decorations which are simple to put up and will cover all shapes and sizes of venues.

Dress Code

Do you want smart formal wear or break the ice with a fancy dress party theme. We have lots of wonderful ideas for themed costumes which will get people laughing and in the party mood right at the start of the evening. Or perhaps simply give a colour themed evening, black and white, or sparkles etc.

Location.

Make sure the venue that you choose is easily accessible for your guests. Think about where they are coming from, are their trains near by, or perhaps you can organise some form of transport, or organise a discount with accommodation at the venue.
